Today Thu 9 April 2009 a five-person delegation from the Irish Sleep Apnoea
Trust (ISAT) met with Minister for Health and Children Ms. Mary Harney
at her Dáil office. ISAT is a voluntary run patient support
group representing people suffering from sleep disorders in particular
sleep apnoea.
Dr. Philip Crowley Deputy Chief Medical Officer,
Department
of Health
and Children was also in attendance.

Minister Harney
afforded time from a busy schedule to meet with an ISAT delegation
for a comprehensive presentation and discussion. The presentation was
delivered by the ISAT Secretary and spokesman Mr. Dan Smyth with
added comment by all ISAT delegates. |
