Meets with Government.
Yesterday, Tue 21 June 2005 a delegation from the Irish Sleep
Apnoea Trust (ISAT) met with representatives of the Irish Government
at Leinster House. The meeting was hosted by Mr. Sean Power TD
Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children, Deputy
Jim Glennon TD Dublin North, Member of the Joint Oireachtas
Committee on Transport and Senator Eamon Scanlon Seanad Éireann, who
has a special interest in Improvements to the Health Service.

The Irish Sleep Apnoea Trust is happy to announce that Google
AdSense has approved our website www.isat.ie for the placement of
Google Adds and Google Site Search. This is in keeping with the
terms of our Mission Statement. AdSense by Google is a fast and easy
way for website publishers to display relevant Google ads on their
website's content pages and earn money in the process. Because the
ads are related to what ISAT visitors are looking for on the ISAT
website, or matched to the characteristics and interests of visitors
our content attracts, we now have a way to both monetise and enhance
our content pages. While payments are expected to be quite small
they should prove relative in the long term and will be made
directly by Google to the ISAT Bank account.

a Private Members Bill to the UK Parliament in the House of Commons
on Tuesday 10 February 2004. It is a Bill to make provision about

has played tough guys for almost four decades, including
the prison inmate in “Cool Hand Luke” that earned him an
Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. But sleep apnoea
nearly destroyed the burly 77-year-old actor, making him
so weak and tired that a walk from his car to a table
inside a restaurant was a strenuous activity.
